ZigBee Standard
ZigBee™ is an emerging technology aimed to being a complementary technology to Bluetooth™ and Wi-Fi™ for wireless networking solutions. The ZigBee™ has very low power requirements and long-range coverage constraints. It has the advantage of using mesh technology to build wireless networks.
ZigBee™ is an open global standard for reliable and economic monitoring and control application networks. Using the ZigBee™ standard, operating in the 2.4 GHz license-free ISM band, results in a set of interoperable solutions widely recognized in the market.
